This is the page of cheats for the Red and Blue versions of the game only. There may be some cheats for the Yellow versions later on, but right now I do not now of any. Also, I don?t now if any of these cheats work, so don?t E-mail me saying that these cheats screwed up your game, cause I HAVE NOT tested these cheats. So, use at your own risk.

This is to have A LOT of an item. Take your character to that guy in Viridian city that had to have his coffee before he would let you through. Talk to him and say that you ARE NOT in a hurry. He will show you how to catch a Caterpie(he has 50 pokeballs, WOW!). After you watch him catch the Caterpie, FLY to Cinibar island. Then SURF half on half off of the beach on the RIGHT side of the island. You will eventually find a weird disorted pokemon that is called MissingNo. or some other weird distorted name. Just defeat him, catch him, or run. You will have a lot of your sixth item.

This cheat is exactly like the Kangaskhan cheat, only that you DO catch the other form of the weird distorted named pokemon. After you catch him, he will automatically become a ditto. Also, when you find a Ditto, make him transform into a Magikarp, then try to catch him. These are both easy ways to catch a Ditto.

In the hotel in Celedon City, go to the right of the building. Go to the upper corner while tapping A, and it will say, "Ash turned on the PC", and it will take you to the PC screen.

In any gym, stand in front of the statue and it will look like you are fishing! You can even catch fish, too!

First, cut down a tree, stand where the tree was, and then save the game. Then restart the game, and Ash will be standing on a tree!

First, go to the Safari Zone in Fuschia City. As soon as you pay and get in, exit Safari Zone. The guy will say, "Leaving early?". Say yes and you will have to return your safari balls. Then, go down to the water, south of Fuscia City and surf to Seafoam Islands, but don?t go on the land. Just surf back and forth along the shore, half on and half off the land, until you find pokemon. They will be pokemon from the Safari Zone. And you can use your pokemon and your ultra balls, great balls, and pokeballs!

To turn a Pokeball into Masterball, after the Pokeball, or any four of the balls, closes over the pokemon, hold down the A button.

To see a man on top of the Cinnibar island gym, make sure that you don?t have the key to the gym, then swim half on and half off the beach on the right side of the island, then get on land RIGHT BESIDE THE GYM DOOR, then go up to the door. While the message "The door is locked." appears, there will be a man on the roof!

To catch a MissingNo., trade with any of the people who want to trade in the Cinnibar Island lab. Or you can do the Duplication Cheat up until you find a MissingNo. You may wish to save the game before getting into a battle with a MissingNo. Make sure that the MissingNo. is at level 80 before you catch it. If it is at a level over 100 or at level 0 do not catch it. After you catch it, it will still be there. Unless you want a Ditto, run from the MissingNo.

Note: If you allow the MissingNo. to be in your box, it WILL mess up the game.

To catch a pokemon over level 100, do the Duplication Cheat up to the point to where you are surfing and looking for a MissingNo. You will find pokemon that are over level 100. Examples: level 180 Snorlax.

Note: These pokemon can only be for showing off. If they ever go into battle, automatically at the end off the battle they will become level 100.
